As we say good by to the previous year 2023 and embracing 2024 we also have to get ready for the resumption of another new session.
According to the 2023/2024 IBBUL academic calendar, new application and registration of students begins on the 8th and ends on the the 22nd January 2024.
While lectures begins on the 22nd, una know how things dey mostly be na when we enter another session, billing dey much this for the new session and most student dey always do things late like paying of school fees, faculty fees, e.t.c.
The question remains, ARE YOU READY TO RESUME? Of course many students who sponsor themselves, others are struggling and those who don't need to, share a similar and general issue, which is trying to cope with everything and everyone on school lol or in another word trying to SURVIVE! 😂
The school have missed your school fees, bike men your transport money, swanbiz, restaurant/shawarma spot your food money and let's not forget all the wonderful frustration. Even if we don't admit it, I know deep down you all still want that feeling again but not for a whole long semester I presume lol.😂
All this beautiful memories I'm sure most of us are dying to come back to our fatherland IBB university Lapai Niger State.
Well good news for the people dying to resume (I'm not one of them), school resumes 18 days from the 4th of January and you know how it goes, the story continues. For some they have 4 years left, some 3, some 2 and some 1, the journey is perceived as to "graduate" but the real case is to "SURVIVE".
Don't forget to package the usual cassava flakes, G-square, life saver, biri da wando (as our mx guys will call it), or anyhow you want label the the amazing dish A.K.A GARRI, bring 1 bag come this semester.
Also, if your call for hunger from home was less last semester make sure to strengthen your voice this semester as we don't know what this new year would hold or what our government will ban next but we hope for the best. Our big presido Bola Ahmed Tinubu got us covered with the price of things, that I am sure of. 💪🏾
Wise word of the day:
Na only for IBBUL even if you get money them go still do you anyhow
Let's not forget another big yet less notable change, THE NEW STUDENTS, A.K.A FRESHERS, we want to use this opportunity to beg experienced IBBULITES, BOSOKO give FRESHERS correct directions to their respective lecture halls or just tell them to ask another person, don't forget you were once a fresher yourself so please let's help one another for the sake of ourselves and others.
If you're yet to register on IBBUL make sure to practice taking bath regularly and bring enough deodorant to distinguish yourself from the crowd and from your fellow students wey no dey baff before them come school.
Advice of the day:
Pack enough deodorant, and practice one square meal technique for optimum survival.
Don't forget nothing is too much to bring to school, and I'm talking about food not clothes, one cannot read on an empty stomach and of course to baff self go hard you.
Well enough premium SHEGE insight let's talk about the good stuff, you get to learn, meet new people that will impact and destroy you, eat different food of nationwide-cheffs from their respective homes lol🤣 and most and best of all find love, it's up to you to maintain and behave as the so called FREEDOM as described by most students comes with it's advantages and disadvantages.
The Best of understanding comes from the worst of lessons...
Blessed be to those who are yet to be enrolled and premium shege continues for those already enrolled.
We will talk about other things in the next gist.
